Ender's Game tells a story of a kid named Ender as he trains in a very young age to win against insectoid alien species. During his training days, his tactical ability shone through because of difficult games that they play.
2. The Fellowship of the Ring ( J.R.R. Tolkien)
In this book, Bilbo Baggins went away and left The Ring with the hands of Gandalf. Soon enough, Frodo Baggins founds out that Bilbo oft his will in his hands and Gandalf passed him the ring and told stories all about it. It's up to Frodo to end and destroy the ring once and for all in the very center of Sauron's (the story's antagonist) own kingdom.
